  • Enhancing your knowledge of Excel?

  • There will be some homework so you can recreate or build custom templates seen firsthand between course offerings to deepen your understanding.

Learning macros and templates will speed up your production and reduce the time you spend on your Excel sheets.

A macro is a recording of formatting changes and other routine tasks performed in Excel to be replayed quickly.

A template is a pre-formatted workbook or worksheet with built-in headers or formulas.

Learn the basics of both and when to apply one or the other for your data sets or collection inputs. Introduction and possible utilization of VBA (Visual Basic for Applications).

Amanda Swanson is a statistician and (Otterbein) MBA graduate with 15 years of product development experience, concentrated on leveraging data-focused innovation and problem-solving techniques. Identifying consumer problems and optimizing possible solutions (products) is her career passion.
