Excel is a foundational tool used by every company and many individuals for building contact lists, personal budgets, financial statements, data management, and revenue projections. During four sessions that take place over two weeks, you will learn:

  • Sheets
  • Data entry
  • Cell formatting
  • Formulas
  • Basic/Advanced functions
  • Graphs
  • An introduction to pivot tables
  • An introduction to advanced topics

Personal practice in Excel is highly recommended. Weekly exercises are assigned to help you consolidate your knowledge.

This Accelerator program is 4 sessions with 8 total contact hours. To earn your badge of completion, you must achieve a minimum of 70% in 3 Key Performance areas: Attendance, Participation, and Activities/Assignments. The instructor will provide a specific rubric outlining the Key Performance areas in the course syllabus.

INSTRUCTOR:

Amanda Swanson is a statistician and (Otterbein) MBA graduate with 15 years of product development experience, concentrated on leveraging data-focused innovation and problem solving techniques. Identifying consumer problems and optimizing possible solutions (products) is her career passion. She has had the opportunity to share her skills with companies like Nestle, E&J Gallo Winery, and Disney and also enjoys watching baseball and practicing yoga in her free time.
