Workshop: Pivot Tables in Excel

Learn how to build and use pivot tables, and pivot graphs, and efficiently produce summary statistics from your data sets. Explore and produce pivot tables, graphs, and summary statistics from large data sets. This course is intended for those who have a basic understanding of summary statistics and want to efficiently navigate through data to determine the best course of action. Learn the power of pivot tables for efficient data analysis and how to tell the best “story” from your data.

No previous experience with pivot tables is required, but prior experience with Excel and basic knowledge of statistics (averages, ranges, etc.) is recommended.

Amanda Swanson is a statistician and (Otterbein) MBA graduate with 15 years of product development experience, concentrated on leveraging data-focused innovation and problem-solving techniques.
