No experience with Pivot Tables required; prior experience with Excel (such as the Intro to Excel Accelerator) and knowledge of basic statistics (averages, range, etc.)

Explore and produce pivot tables, graphs, and summary statistics from large data sets. This course is intended for those who have a basic understanding of summary statistics and want to efficiently navigate through data to determine the best course of action. Learn the power of pivot tables for efficient data analysis and how to tell the best “story” from your data.

Expectation – interest in trying Excel, self-motivation, basic Excel understanding (such as from the Accelerator: Intro to Excel)

Homework – exercises may be assigned after each session for your own practice

Instructor:

Your instructor, Amanda Nugent, is a Cross-Functional Leader & Consumer Advocate currently working at The Walt Disney Company as a Manager of Consumer Insights. Amanda previously worked as a Senior Statistician at Nestle, and as a Statistician at E&J Gallo Winery.

Amanda holds a BS in Mathematics from California State University – Stanislaus, an MS in Statistics from California State University – East Bay, and an MBA from Otterbein University.
