The New Manager Series is a unique opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of strengths and opportunities as a leader. During this program, you will learn new skills, tools and approaches to lead more effectively throughout your career journey. You’ll make significant progress on key leadership challenges and gain access to a network of leaders throughout the program.
This program is led by Laurie Kamerer, Associate Vice President of Career Development at Denison University. She is a tenured marketing and communications executive with expertise in employee engagement and cultural transformation. Laurie has effectively influenced opinions, beliefs, and behaviors, and thereby affected broad-based change. As leader of Denison’s Knowlton Center for Career Exploration, she leads a team of career coaches and industry experts who give students the knowledge, tools, and skills to launch into meaningful careers and lives. Prior to joining Denison University, Laurie led communications and store operations for Victoria Secret. She started her retail journey at Gap Inc., after having worked as a newspaper reporter early in her career.
