In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to take the first steps toward finding and joining a nonprofit board. Explore where to find opportunities, what organizations look for in prospective board members, and how to communicate the skills and perspective you can bring to the table. You’ll also get an inside look at the typical recruitment, interview, and vetting process, including the questions you should ask and potential red flags to consider before saying yes.
