Learn how nonprofits are funded, how money moves through mission-driven organizations, and how to read the financial picture with confidence.

Most people who join nonprofits come in through program, development, or operations roles and quickly discover that the financial language feels foreign. This session pulls back the curtain on how nonprofits are actually funded, how money moves through the organization, and why financial health in the sector has to be understood on its own terms.

Measured vs.
Learning

This workshop will demystify nonprofit finance for anyone working in or joining a mission-driven organization. Participants will learn how nonprofits are funded, how money moves through the organization, and why financial health in the sector is measured differently than in for-profit businesses. Designed for those in program, development, or operations roles, the session will help students understand the financial language of nonprofits and read the financial picture with confidence.
