Learn the fundamentals of storyboarding to bring ideas to life through compelling visual storytelling.

Every film, animation, commercial, and video begins with a story. Before cameras roll or animation begins, creators use storyboards to visualize ideas, plan shots, and communicate their vision to collaborators. In this four-week accelerator, participants will learn the fundamentals of visual storytelling through the art of storyboarding. Working from an original short script, participants will explore how composition, staging, perspective, shot selection, and sequencing can shape the way an audience experiences a story. Through hands-on exercises, film analysis, and instructor feedback, participants will develop a storyboard from concept to presentation while gaining insight into professional creative workflows used across film, animation, advertising, and digital media. By the end of the program, participants will have completed and presented an original storyboard that demonstrates their ability to communicate a narrative visually.
